I’ve often been asked about the steps I take in post processing to make some of my cool infrared images. To be honest, the only way I’ve ever found to make a good digital IR image is to use a specially converted camera – there doesn’t seem to be a Photoshop technique that can achieve the same result.
So here is a little video that shows the steps I go through to process an infrared image from my IR converted Nikon D70. I’ve hosted the video over at my Smugmug account which seems to have made my colours a bit funky.
