I really like to do engagement sessions. They are a great opportunity to just have fun with some cool people.
This weekend, I did a session with Michelle and Tim in Milford, New Hampshire. We had time to visit several locations and get some interesting shots. One of the things I like to do with engagement sessions is try new things and push things a bit in post processing.
This was the first outing with my new 85mm f1.4 lens which has replaced my older f1.8. One thing I discovered quickly is that it’s not a good idea to shoot into the sun without its hood in place – the result is some rather interesting flare.
