Bedford NH, Bridal Expo
Last Sunday Caren did the hair and makeup for the fashion show at the New Hampshire Wedding Magazine Bridal Expo.
She did her usual fantastic job and the models looked great. Here are a few simple images – no lighting used at all, just one camera body and a couple of prime lenses:
Tiffany & Dana – Engement Images
It was a cold New Hampshire winter winter morning when we got together with Tiffany and Dana for their engagement shoot.
Apart from the temperature though, the weather was beautiful and the snow gave a new look to some of our favorite locations.
Stacey and Craig’s Wedding
Just before Christmas, Amelia and I had a great time photographing Stacey and Craig’s wedding in Jacksonville, FL. Come to think of it, it would be nice to be back in Florida today, it is rather chilly here in New Hampshire!
We enjoyed our trip south and hanging out with Stacey and Craig’s families. Here are some of a favorite images from the wedding:
President Obama in Nashua
When Mr. Obama was in town recently for a Town Hall Meeting, we were lucky to get tickets and pretty good seats. It was a great opportunity for some quick Presidential photography – although hard to be creative when sitting cramped in the bleachers.

Getting married in New England?

This takes place at the Crowne Plaza here in Nashua and many of the best local wedding vendors will be in attendance.
You’ll be able to meet with venues, limo companies, florists, DJs, photographers and many others. There is a fashion show and prizes to be won as well.
At the UniqueDay booth our family will be featuring our contemporary photography as well as Caren’s stunning hair and makeup service.
Hey brides, with the Patriots not in the playoffs your fiance will have no excuse not to come with you!

Live in Lowell for 12for12k
Last week, along with my 12for12k partners Elli and Matt, I had the pleasure to help organize Live in Lowell in Lowell Mass. This was an evening of music and fun – all in support of Mass Coalition for the Homeless.
It was a fantastic evening and we did a good job of raising some funds for this important cause.

The song on the slideshow is My Own Way Home by The Bella Birds who along with Sierra, Bethel Steel and Flood stepped up and gave freely of their time and talent. I love to shoot bands, especially in black and white like this!

Please help us support Live in Lowell
With the holidays coming up, it is a really tough time to be homeless – especially up here in the cold North East.
To help as much as we can, UniqueDay Events has teamed up with 12for12k to support Live in Lowell – a month long fundraiser supporting MA Coalition for the Homeless.
The centerpiece of the effort is a great evening of music, fun and networking to be held in Lowell, MA on December 10th.
If you live within driving distance of Lowell, we would love to see you there – it is going to be a special evening with great musicians and raffles with great prizes.
If you can’t make it to the live event, you can still see what’s going on because we plan to stream the event live on the 12for12k site.
Our venue is The Mambo Grill, one of many great new places to go in revitalized downtown Lowell.
If you are not going to be there on the night, you can still contribute using the ChipIn widget on this page. Your donation goes straight to MCH – we don’t handle or deduct from your payment at all.

Denisa & Chris’s Wedding
Caren and I had a great time at Denisa & Chris’s wedding. It was at the Bedford Village Inn, one of our favorite locations. The weather was perfect and everyone had a very enjoyable time.
